UMBRELLA Competition 2025

Grants totalling £70,000 are to be handed out up to 10 small and medium sized businesses by South Gloucestershire Council.

Applications open on the 2nd of June 2025. This is a unique opportunity for small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the digital technology sector to access funding, build connections and accelerate their growth. With support from South Gloucestershire Council and funding from the West of England Mayoral Combined Authority, digital tech businesses have a chance to secure a share of £70,000 in grants.

Process Overview

Application Window: 2nd of June – 30th of June 2025 (End of Day)

Evaluation Period : 1st of July – 31st of July 2025

Successful Applicants will be notified early August for Review.

Programme start and 1st payment on the 1st of September 2025.

Projects to be completed by January 2026 where final payment will be given.

Information Session
